The other day my friend Sara, a sausagetarian, gave me a shout out on her blog. I was right chuffed, as they say, because she's a legit food writer and all. (On a side note, if you're at all curious about culinary school, read her post and the NYTimes article that prompted it).

several things I enjoyed about this post:
ReplyDelete1) The fact that your friend is a sausagetarian!! When I gave up meat this year, I'd forgotten about friggin' hot dogs! Maybe I should change to a sausagetarian. She is a genius!
2) Ummmm, that baby spatulata is awesome, and I TOTALLY feel ya when it come to Nutella. I usually end up using a knife/spoon/index finger combo to get the last bits of nutella out of the jar.
3) Also, I can totally hear your voice when I read your blog posts, which is the sign of a great writer, I think. Like, when you say, "I was right chuffed, as they say..." TOTALLY in a Scott-voice did I hear that.
Your blog is great. Keep writing and baking and writing about baking. Yesh.
